Wedding Receptions

Port Isaac Village Hall provides an idyllic setting for a fairytale wedding reception for up to 80 guests - a venue that you can decorate as you wish and make your own.

Hire includes:

  • the Hall’s kitchen facilities

  • crockery, cutlery, table wine and water glasses and champagne flutes for 80

  • tables and chairs for 80 guests

  • WIFI access

  • the Hall bar will open for your event

Bar

The Village Hall is licenced to sell alcohol and is responsible for ensuring that the Licencing Laws are adhered to at all times. For this reason, the Village Hall will open and run the bar at all times.

The Hall licence allows the serving of alcohol and play of music up to 11pm (10.30pm on Sundays). The Village Hall voluntary bar staff will be available as required throughout your event.

We provide a very competitively priced bar for all functions and this includes the provision of welcome drinks, table wine and wine for toasts etc. Please advise the Bookings Secretary of any specific requirements.

Please note: only alcohol provided by the Village Hall bar can be served at events. This includes drinks on arrival, table wines and sparkling wine/champagne for toasts unless you pay a corkage charge

The Small Print

Deposits - A deposit of £300 will be required to confirm your Wedding Package booking and must be paid when your booking is made. This will be repaid after your event. Full hire payment will be due at least 28 days before your event date. If full payment for a booking is not received within 28 days of the event this will cause a loss of your deposit and the hall may be re-let.

Additionally, if the Hall is not left clean and tidy, with everything put away, all rubbish removed and all equipment etc that has been hired in, either by the hirer or caterers, removed within the hire period, or if anything is damaged, we will deduct from your deposit the costs we incur to put things right.
